In fact – I literally gifted some of my favorite books to my dates AND my job interviewers! 🙂
I will be listing my favorite books here and the reasons why I think you should give them a try.
Stay tuned…

Man’s Search for Meaningby Viktor E FranklIn 1991, Man’s Search for Meaning was listed as “one of the ten most influential books in the U.S”. by the Library of Congress. At the time of the author’s death in 1997, the book had sold over 10 million copies and had been translated into 24 languages!
Part 1 constitutes Frankl’s analysis of his experiences in the concentration camps, while Part 2 introduces his ideas of meaning and his theory called Logotherapy.

The 5 Love Languages

Explains that people express and receive love in different ways

Why you should read it
Improves Relationships:
It helps couples, friends, and family members understand why someone may not “feel” loved even when love is being shown—just in a different language.
Reduces Miscommunication:
Many conflicts arise from mismatched love expressions. This book gives tools to bridge that gap.
Strengthens Emotional Bonds:
Learning your partner’s (or child’s) love language helps you connect on a deeper, more fulfilling level.
Practical and Easy to Apply:
The book includes simple quizzes, examples, and daily habits you can use right away.
Universal and Timeless:
It’s not just for romantic couples—it applies to all relationships: parents, children, friends, even coworkers.
Dr. Gary Chapman identifies five primary “languages” of love:
Words of Affirmation – verbal expressions like compliments, encouragement, and kind words.
Acts of Service – doing helpful things for your partner.
Receiving Gifts – thoughtful presents that show love and attention.
Quality Time – giving undivided attention and meaningful moments together.
Physical Touch – gestures of closeness like hugs, kisses, or hand-holding.
Each person has one or two dominant love languages, and when partners understand each other’s, emotional connection deepens.
